Marco Tulio Lamoyi was born in Tabasco and from an early age became interested in art, literature and music. In 1972 he studied painting at the National Youth Institute and later attended workshops at the National School of San Carlos, in Mexico City. In 1975 he is accepted at the National School of Painting and Sculpture "La Esmeralda", where he studies Plastic Arts.
